For 2007, Pontiac has not tinkered in any major way with what it had come out with for 2006; the peak power of this progeny of the Grand Am is now toned down to 3.5 L, having done away with the 3.9L that it had in the 2006 GTP. This apart, it retains the 2006 make with no noticeable changes.
On this G6, you have a really vast spread of trims to choose from, seven to be precise. The trims that are available to choose from are prudently spread, with some of them being of the same power and specs. For instance, the 1SV Sedan and the G6 Sedan have been clubbed together with an engine of 2.4L I4, delivering 169 hp; the GT Coupe and GT Sedan both have a capacity of 252 hp riding on a 3.5L V6, while the GTP Sedan and Coupe deliver a deadly output of 252 hp standing on a 3.6 LV6. Finally, the GT Convertible has been fitted with a 3.5 L V6 that gives out 217 hp. All these come with a basic warranty of 36 months or 36,000 miles.
All of these can be either 4-speed Automatic Transmission (AT) or 6-speed Manual Transmission (MT). This certainly makes for a good menu on the table, and each is really palatable.
